01 Service guide
Find the treatment that fits.
Choose a category to see what each treatment involves. It’s a starting point — your consultation is where we work out what’s right for you.
Orthodontics
Braces, clear aligners and retainers that straighten teeth and help your bite work comfortably.
5 treatments in this category
- What it is
- Small metal brackets are bonded to the front of your teeth and linked by a thin archwire. Gentle, controlled pressure gradually guides the teeth into better positions over time.
- Who it may help
- Teenagers and adults with crowded, gapped or rotated teeth, or a bite that doesn’t meet comfortably — including more complex alignment needs.
- What to expect
- After your consultation and planning, braces are fitted in a single visit. You’ll come back for regular adjustments. Some tenderness for a few days after fitting and adjustments is normal.
- What it is
- Ceramic braces use clear or tooth-coloured brackets instead of metal. They work in the same way as conventional braces but blend in with your natural teeth.
- Who it may help
- Teens and adults who want fixed braces with a more discreet look — often a good fit for college students and working professionals.
- What to expect
- Fitting and follow-up visits are similar to metal braces. The small elastic ties around each bracket can pick up stains from foods like turmeric, tea and coffee, so a little extra care helps.
- What it is
- Clear aligners are custom-made transparent trays. Each set is worn for a planned period before you move to the next, and every set moves your teeth a little closer to the planned position.
- Who it may help
- Adults and older teens with mild to moderate alignment concerns who want a discreet, removable option — and who are comfortable wearing aligners for most of the day.
- What to expect
- Aligners usually need to be worn for around 20–22 hours a day and taken out to eat. Progress is reviewed at regular check-ins. Suitability depends on your teeth and bite, and is confirmed after an examination.
- What it is
- Smile correction brings together the treatments your smile actually needs — which may include orthodontics, cosmetic care or restorative work — into one coordinated plan.
- Who it may help
- Anyone unhappy with gaps, crowding, uneven teeth or the overall look of their smile, who wants a considered, natural-looking result.
- What to expect
- It begins with a conversation about what you’d like to change. Dr. Supriya explains which options suit your teeth, roughly how long each takes and what’s involved, so you can decide with confidence.
- What it is
- Retainers are removable or fixed appliances made to fit your teeth. They help keep teeth in their new positions while the surrounding bone and gums settle.
- Who it may help
- Anyone finishing braces or aligner treatment — and people whose teeth have shifted after earlier orthodontic treatment and would like an assessment.
- What to expect
- You’ll be shown how to wear and clean your retainer and how often to wear it. Wearing retainers as advised is one of the most important parts of keeping your result.
Treatment suitability is determined after an in-person dental consultation.
